Users can create or join private tournaments, submit predictions, view leaderboard results, send feedback, and purchase a one-time QuinelApp Pass to unlock higher tournament limits and premium features.

We do not intentionally collect precise GPS location or real-time movement data.
4. How we use personal information
We use personal information to:
- create, manage, and secure user accounts;

- process checkout status and paid access through Stripe;
- send password reset, account, security, service, and legal update messages;

- measure product usage, diagnose errors, protect platform integrity, and prevent abuse;
- display sponsor placements, ads, and external links where applicable;
- comply with legal, accounting, tax, fraud-prevention, dispute-resolution, and security obligations.
We do not currently send marketing or promotional email campaigns. If we add newsletters or promotional emails later, we will provide the required notices and opt-out mechanisms.
5. Legal bases for processing
Depending on the user's location, we may process personal information based on performance of a contract, consent, legitimate interests, legal obligations, and other bases permitted by applicable law. For example, we process account and tournament data to provide the Services, process payment status to fulfill QuinelApp Pass access, use limited analytics and security data to improve and protect the platform, and process certain records when required by law.
6. When we disclose personal information
We disclose personal information only as needed to operate, secure, analyze, improve, and support QuinelApp. We do not sell users' personal information for money. We also do not provide user contact lists to sponsors or business partners. Depending on applicable privacy law, our use of analytics, advertising, cookies, pixels, tags, click redirects, or similar technologies may be considered a “sharing” of personal information or processing for targeted advertising. Where required, we provide choices through our cookie banner, privacy controls, or contact process.
We may disclose information to the following categories of recipients:
- hosting and infrastructure providers, including Microsoft Azure;
- payment processors, including Stripe;
- analytics providers, including Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity;
- advertising and sponsor-related services, including Google AdSense where enabled;
- support and business email providers, including Google Workspace;
- legal, privacy, consent, or compliance tools used to manage policies and consent;
- service providers, contractors, or advisors who help operate or protect the Services;
- authorities or third parties when required by law, legal process, security needs, or protection of rights;
- successors in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of the business.
Sponsor links and product links may send users to third-party websites such as Amazon or sponsor pages. Those websites are governed by their own privacy practices.
7. Cookies, analytics, and advertising
QuinelApp uses cookies and similar technologies for essential site functions, security, analytics, product improvement, and advertising or sponsor measurement where enabled. These technologies may include cookies, local storage, tags, pixels, beacons, and click redirects.
Non-essential analytics and advertising tools should only run where allowed by consent, platform settings, or another lawful basis. Users can reject non-essential cookies or reopen cookie settings where the preference tool is available.

8. Third-party account integrations
QuinelApp does not currently offer third-party account sign-in and does not currently use Google API services to access users' Google account data. If we add third-party sign-in, Google OAuth, or other account integrations later, we will update this Privacy Policy.
9. International transfers
QuinelApp is operated from Mexico, and our servers or service providers may process personal information in the United States, Mexico, Ireland, and other countries where our providers operate. If personal information from the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland is transferred internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses where required.
10. Retention
We keep account-related personal information for as long as the user has an account with us. We may retain certain records for longer where needed for legal, accounting, tax, payment, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution, backup, or platform-integrity purposes.
We generally retain analytics and internet activity data for a reasonable period, such as up to one year, unless a different period is required or permitted by law or configured in the relevant analytics provider.
11. Minors
QuinelApp is intended for users who are at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from or market to users under 18. If you believe we collected information from a minor, contact us at support@cuarastudio.com.
12. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encrypted connections where available, secure hosting practices, restricted production configuration, and payment processing through Stripe instead of directly storing full card numbers. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users are responsible for keeping their login credentials confidential and notifying us of suspected unauthorized access.
13. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or receive a copy of your personal information, and you may have the right to withdraw consent or opt out of certain processing, including certain sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling activities where those rights apply. These rights may be limited by applicable law.
To exercise privacy rights, contact support@cuarastudio.com. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
Mexico users may contact us to request access, correction, cancellation, opposition, deletion, or other privacy-related rights regarding their personal information, as applicable under relevant privacy laws.
If applicable privacy law gives you the right to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or similar processing, you may use the cookie preference tool where available or contact us at the email above. We may need to verify your request before acting on it.
14. Do-not-track and Global Privacy Control
QuinelApp does not currently respond automatically to browser Do-Not-Track signals or Global Privacy Control signals. Users may still manage non-essential cookie choices through the cookie preference tool where available or contact us to exercise applicable privacy rights. If we implement automatic signal recognition later, we will update this Privacy Policy.
15. Updates to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be indicated by a new “Last updated” date. For material changes, we may notify users by email, an in-app notice, or another reasonable method.
